Ion gnss 2011 conference issues call for papers

Abstract submissions are now being accepted for the Institute of Navigation’s (ION) GNSS 2011. The conference will take place September 20-23, 2011 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Instructions on submitting an abstract are available online. The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 11.

Air force completes another software upgrade to gps groud system

As part of a larger on-going effort by the Air Force to improve and maintain the current GPS ground system, Air Force Space Command completed another sustainment software release for the GPS operational control segment ground system. The 2nd Space Operations Squadron at Schriever AFB, Colorado, completed the Architecture Evolution Plan 5.6 software upload on January 5.
